'Darkworld' is a festival of artists by artists. Boss Moxi has been an active part of the Australian Music scene for over a decade and have established themselves as a collaborative Arthouse dedicated to the multi levels of live music and interactive art. Their most recent project 'Egotoxin' combines visual art & music in the form of a graphic novel which is presented as a fully immersive live show of Instrumentalists, Actors, Dancers and Audio Visual Technicians. This festival is Boss Moxi's curation of the creative hometown that continues to inspire them.

  • How do I volunteer to become a part of the Darkworld//TEAM?
    Darkworld 2020/21 is looking for keen and able volunteers to get this year across the line in best version it can be. We are looking to the future and hoping to build a volunteer team that will see 2021 through into bringing DW to Brisbane every year that follows. If you are experienced in festival work, looking to get yourself some serious experience, or just want to help out visit the Volunteer Page to apply. Apply to be a DW//2021 Volunteer here.
  • How many tickets are available?
    Darkworld 2020/21 will release a limited capacity of tickets. This is obviously due to the restricitions currently in place by the QLD Government. The Triffid will be in close contact with DW//2021 about changes to these restrictions and we will notify subscribers and followers on social media with any changes if they happen.   • Is there parking at the venue?
    We recommend ditching the car so you can have a bevvy in The Triffid Garden. But if you’ve been dragged into deso – there’s limited street parking around Newstead or you can pay for parking at the Gasworks. Paid parks are from 7am-7pm, and unmarked spots are generally 2 hours free parking. Visit The Triffid site for more details on the venue / (an idea of what not to expect...)   • How do I apply to perform or exhibit at Darkworld?
    We have fully booked our lineup for DW so unfortunately we are not accepting any more applicaitons for DW//2021. If you would like to be a part of DARKWORLD //2022 however please express your interest in the contact form. We will release a proper submission form for all artists of every kind on Febuary 1st 2021. Let's grow this beast and enjoy what becomes of it. join the DW//family here
  • When will the full lineup be announced?
    From the 09.12.2020 through until the week of the event we will be incredmentally releasing the full details of the event. We guarentee an incredible experience nonetheless and encourage any who are interested to buy tickets sooner rather than later as you will miss out due to limited capacity.
